Role: Application Developer – CA Plex / SQL Server (Legacy Systems)
Location: Columbia, SC 29201
Interview Process: Single round (Virtual)
Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)
Work Location: 100% Remote
Eligibility: Candidates must reside within the Continental United States and be comfortable working EST hours
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Application Developer with deep expertise in CA Plex (or similar 4GL/model-driven environments) and SQL Server/T-SQL to support and enhance enterprise-level legacy systems. This is a fully remote role requiring candidates to work EST hours.
- Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in application development
- 7+ years of experience with SQL Server / T-SQL
- 7+ years of experience maintaining and supporting legacy or enterprise systems
- 10+ years of strong debugging and troubleshooting experience
- 7+ years of experience with CA Plex or similar 4GL/model-driven development platforms
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with government or judicial systems (e.g., South Carolina courts)
- Experience with generated languages such as C++, Java, or .NET (from Plex)
- Familiarity with batch processing and transactional systems
- Experience with API integrations
- Exposure to data warehousing environments
- Understanding of case lifecycle processes (filed, pending, disposed)
- Knowledge of court performance metrics (e.g., backlog, clearance rates)
