Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer with strong expertise in Synon (Cool:2E). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting applications on the IBM iSeries (AS400) platform.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support applications using AS400 and Synon (Cool:2E)
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging of existing applications
- Work closely with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and performance issues
- Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation
- Required Skills:
- Strong experience with AS400/iSeries development
- Hands-on expertise in Synon (Cool:2E)
- Proficiency in RPG/RPGLE, CL, DB2/400
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with SQL, ILE concepts
- Familiarity with modernization projects or integration with web services
