Job Description
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Purpose: Responsible to support the manufacturing process by completing preventative and unscheduled maintenance on all assembly production equipment
- Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program
- Support manufacturing process in production department by responding to unscheduled breakdowns on production equipment
- Accurate completion of PM documents and assigned work orders
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
- Assembly of new production fixtures and components
- Support continuous improvement practices by documenting improvements
- Monitor torque calibration program
- Verification of equipment to ensure all safety features are in working order
- Maintain overall orderliness and organization of the tool crib
- Support and demonstrate 5 "s" principles
- Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are being completed
- Participate in routine line set-ups
- Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives
- Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in assembly/production maintenance
- Experience in hydraulics, pnuematics, & electronics preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Current forklift certification
- Data entry of work orders / PM sheets
- Ability to focus on assigned tasks and complete in a timely manner
- Training:
- Reference OJT
- Physical Demands:
- Ability to walk or stand 90% of shift
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to twist, bend, stoop and climb ladders/stairs
