Edelman is a leading communications marketing firm seeking an Assistant Account Executive to support their Technology team. The role involves research, media relations, and campaign coordination, providing hands-on experience while adhering to Edelman's standards for client service and collaboration. Responsibilities Prepare status reports, organize logistics, participate in calls, take notes, and follow up on next steps Track coverage, analyze sentiment, scan competitors, and compile insights to inform strategy Draft, edit, and proofread materials such as press releases, pitches, media lists, talking points, and reports Support the execution of campaigns and media events Track time and expenses accurately, adhere to budgets, and follow internal financial procedures Engage proactively with cross-functional teams (creative, analytics, strategy), contributing to a seamless team dynamic Actively participate in Edelman learning opportunities and demonstrate growth mindset behaviors Skills Previous internship experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, media or publishing A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience Demonstrated interest in technology PR and similar work Strong interpersonal, organizational and written and oral communications skills Ability to adapt to new conditions, deadlines and assignments Solid knowledge of the MS Office suite Demonstrates strong work ethic and the ability to provide quality work to clients and teams Benefits Medical and dental insurance Vision 401K Life insurance Disability insurance Paid time off Travel assistance Wellness programing Company Overview Edelman, a public relations firm, offers analysis, advertising, marketing, branding, and content and strategy management services.
