About the position
The Assistant, Product Management and Sourcing generally supports one or two departments in partnership with an Associate or Manager. Performance Requirements Support product managers in the end‑to‑end product development lifecycle, from concept to delivery. Assist in the identification and evaluation of vendor partners to ensure high-quality and cost-effective sourcing. Manage communication and workflow between cross‑functional partners including merchandising, design, technical design, and vendors. Monitor and manage production timelines to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and build strong partnerships. Assist in the development of product briefs and specifications for new and existing products. Contribute to the continuous improvement of sourcing processes and strategies. Provide administrative support to the Product Management and Sourcing teams as needed, including managing samples and mail. Additional Job Responsibilities: This role plays a supportive and collaborative part in the product process, contributing to execution and operational excellence rather than owning product selection or product strategy. The role consists of significant administrative and operational responsibilities, including extensive data entry, order tracking, and maintaining accurate internal records. Create and update PowerPoint presentations, Excel Spreadsheets, and other internal documents to support cross‑functional alignment and reporting. Work collaboratively with merchandising to track product details, sample movement, and key milestone updates. Support day‑to‑day coordination activities such as sample management, organizing information, routing materials for approval, and ensuring documentation accuracy.

- Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field, or related-experience in combination.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail, required.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of the fashion retail industry and product development processes, preferred.
