They are seeking an Associate Attorney to gain hands-on experience in various types of litigation cases, assist with depositions, motions, and trials under partner supervision, and manage a high-volume docket independently for more experienced candidates. Responsibilities Gain hands-on experience in premises liability, auto/trucking, construction, fire, subrogation, and coverage cases Assist with depositions, written discovery, motions, mediations, and trials under partner supervision Receive experienced paralegal and legal secretarial staff support Skills 0-2 years Ohio civil or criminal litigation experience (law clerk/internship/recent grads also ok) Strong research, writing and analytical skills Eagerness to learn and manage increasing docket independence over time Ohio bar in good standing (or eligible) 5–12 years Ohio civil or criminal litigation experience Proven deposition, motion practice, and trial experience Ability to manage a high-volume docket independently Ohio bar in good standing Benefits Full health, dental, disability, and life insurance 401(k) with match Realistic billable hour expectations for a good work-life balance Hybrid flexibility after 90 days Company Overview Young & Alexander Co., L.P.A.
