Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with experience in property insurance litigation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and confident managing cases from intake through trial.
- Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of first-party property insurance claims
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Handle court appearances and trial preparation
- Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy
- Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license and in good standing with the Texas Bar
- 1–5+ years of litigation experience (property insurance experience preferred)
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Trial experience is a plus
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
- Experience handling first-party property insurance cases preferred
