As an Associate Consultant – Employee Health Benefits, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering strategic employee health insurance benefits consulting services to our clients. This mid-level position offers the perfect blend of analytical work, client interaction, and professional growth opportunities. You’ll work closely with senior consultants and client team leaders to design, analyze, and implement innovative employee health insurance benefit strategies.
This is a highly visible role that requires strong analytical skills, professional writing ability, and a consultative mindset. Industry Expertise: • Strong understanding of employee health insurance benefits, including plan design and funding arrangements. • Familiarity with health insurance industry terminology. • Ability to interpret and analyze health benefit plan descriptions. • Experience interacting with health insurance carrier representatives. • Direct involvement in the analysis, design, and implementation of a broad range of health insurance benefit programs.
• Proven success in client-facing roles and contributing to project delivery. Responsibilities: • Analyze complex health insurance plan data, including claims experience, renewal projections, and financial performance. • Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, and recommendations that drive strategic decisions. • Serve as a technical resource and secondary consultant for select clients. • Manage project delivery—planning, budgeting, and ensuring timely execution. • Contribute to practice development initiatives and process improvements.
