The Associate Engineer will contribute to the digital infrastructure of production and regulatory facilities, focusing on building and evolving enterprise labeling and integration platforms while ensuring compliance and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a Unified User Experience: Assist in configuring digital workflows in platforms like Perigord GLAMS and Loftware to help streamline MLR approvals for art and package printing
- Support Modern Integrations: Help implement and test integrations between our SaaS platforms and SAP, monitor data flows, and provide frontline support to ensure data integrity and high availability
- Ensure Lean Validation & Compliance: Execute validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for system enhancements and help generate clear, lean documentation to maintain GxP compliance and data integrity
- Collaborate and Learn: Partner with senior engineers and product managers to understand user problems, gather feedback, and learn to apply modern engineering practices to deliver valuable solutions
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Foundational knowledge of core IT concepts (like APIs, databases, or system integration) gained through academic projects, an internship, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong problem-solving ability and a demonstrated desire to learn new technologies and programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and source control (e.g., Git)
- An interest in or experience with GxP-regulated environments (e.g., Pharmaceutical, Animal Health)
- A strong desire to challenge 'the way it's always been done' to simplify processes
