Position: Automation Engineer IAM (Azure) Location:
Remote Key Role (One-Line Summary): Design, build, and optimize Azure-based Identity & Access Management (IAM) automation solutions using PowerShell,.NET, and Azure-native services to deliver secure, scalable, high-performance identity lifecycle and governance automation within a DevOps-driven environment. Detail JD Automation Development & Engineering Design, develop, and implement robust automation solutions using PowerShell,.NET, and Bicep.
Build automation for IAM services, including: Certificate lifecycle management User and object provisioning/deprovisioning B2B access policies bolthires Entra ID, Active Directory, and native group management Ensure automation solutions are secure, reusable, and enterprise-ready. Azure-Based Automation Solutions Leverage Azure services to build event-driven and scalable automation, including: Azure API Management Azure Service Bus Azure Container Apps Azure Function Apps Design integrations that support high-volume IAM transactions with reliability and resilience.
Quality, Performance & Security Deliver high-quality, performance-optimized code capable of handling bulk IAM operations. Apply best practices for error handling, logging, monitoring, and security controls. Ensure automation aligns with identity governance and compliance requirements. DevOps & bolthires/CD Collaboration Work within a DevOps-driven delivery model, utilizing: Azure DevOps or GitHub for source control bolthires/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to support continuous delivery of IAM automation solutions.
Strategic & Innovation Contributions Align automation initiatives with IAM strategic roadmaps and service objectives. Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Sonnet to: Improve development efficiency Enhance code quality Drive innovation across IAM services Experience & Knowledge Subject-matter expertise in IAM automation, with hands-on experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale solutions. Proven experience delivering performance-optimized automation using: PowerShell.NET Bicep Strong background in IAM technologies, including: bolthires Entra ID Active Directory Experience managing end-to-end automation lifecycles, including scheduling, coordination, deployment, and maintenance across multiple environments.
