Job Description
We are developing a structured, multi-step assessment platform that requires a secure backend scoring engine and REST API layer.
We are seeking an experienced backend engineer to:
- Implement weighted scoring logic based on a predefined matrix
- Design secure database architecture
- Build authenticated REST API endpoints
- Return structured JSON responses (score, tier, explanation)
- Implement rate limiting and error handling
- Deliver clean documentation
The system must be scalable, secure, and structured for future expansion.
Requirements
- Strong backend experience (Node.js, Python, or similar)
- Experience building scoring systems, assessment tools, or rule-based engines
- API-first development mindset
- Secure coding practices
- Ability to deliver within 15 calendar days
