Backend Developer (Supabase/Firebase & No-Code Specialist, Contract-to-Hire)
Overview:
We're a fast-paced startup building a cross-platform mobile app. We're seeking an experienced backend developer with expertise in Supabase/Firebase and no-code tools like Bubble to handle authentication, real-time database, and rapid prototyping for admin and testing features, with potential for long-term role.
- Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage authentication, real-time database, and backend services using Supabase or Firebase.
- Implement no-code solutions with Bubble for admin dashboards and contest/feature testing to accelerate MVP development.
- Integrate backend with frontend APIs for seamless data flow and real-time updates.
- Ensure security, scalability, and performance in a high-engagement app environment.
- Collaborate on quick iterations and deliver a functional backend for MVP within a tight timeline (target: 4 weeks).
- Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience with Supabase/Firebase for auth, real-time DB, and backend logic.
- Hands-on experience with no-code platforms like Bubble for prototyping and admin tools.
- Strong knowledge of database design, API integration, and real-time features.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setup.
Compensation:
Competitive cash + equity package, commensurate with experience. Opportunity for full-time position upon successful MVP launch.
