<strong>Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions</strong><br><br>Provides oversight and management of daily operations for outpatient specialty behavioral health medication management services to ensure efficient and effective patient care.<br><br>Collaborates with the Associate Chief of Psychiatric Services to improve operations, track productivity, and monitor key performance metrics within the service area.<br><br>Facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration among psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and support staff to optimize patient care and enhance clinic efficiency.<br><br>Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including proper documentation, patient confidentiality, and adherence to safety protocols.<br><br>Oversees staff scheduling and workload distribution to maintain adequate coverage and minimize burnout.<br><br>Supports quality improvement initiatives by analyzing service delivery outcomes and recommending data-driven changes to improve clinical effectiveness.<br><br>Implements ongoing communication strategies, including facilitating monthly team meetings to foster collaboration and transparency.<br><br>Serves as a liaison between clinical teams and administrative leadership to communicate challenges and propose practical solutions.<br><br>Completes human resources tasks such as performance evaluations (P3s), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) coordination, Clarifications of Expectations (COEs), and Work Improvement Plans (WIPs) in collaboration with the Associate Chief.<br><br>Promotes staff professional development by identifying training needs and coordinating educational and training opportunities.<br><br> Investigates and responds to complaints related to direct reports in a timely and effective manner.<br><br>Participates in strategic planning efforts to align clinical services with organizational goals and emerging trends in behavioral health<br><br><strong>Minimum Education and Experience Requirements</strong><br><br>Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist in the state of Georgia.<br><br>Licensed in the State of Georgia License.<br><br>Board Eligible "New Graduates" in credentialed specialty when hired must become Board Certified within four years of the date of the earliest eligibility for the appropriate board to continue employment with TSPMG. Clinicians that are hospital based must follow the hospital policy for board certification requirements.<br><br>All applicants need to be in good standing with the medical group and not had any corrective action, including Clarification of Expectations or Work Improvement Plans in the past 2 years.<br><br><strong>Preferred Education and Experience</strong><br><br>2 years of service with TSPMG<br><br><strong>Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation</strong><br><br>Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist in the state of Georgia.<br><br>Current Unrestricted License in the State of Georgia
