We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Detox and Inpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Staff to join our team. This role is critical in providing support and care to individuals undergoing detoxification and rehabilitation from substance use disorders. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Our focus is on the strengths of the clients we serve as well as elements of positive psychology.

Key Responsibilities: Patient Support: Assist in the daily care and support of patients, including monitoring their physical and emotional well-being during detoxification and treatment. Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct regular assessments of patients, observing for withdrawal symptoms and changes in behavior. Document observations and report any concerns to the nursing staff. Group Facilitation: Participate in or facilitate group sessions, providing a safe and supportive environment for patients to share their experiences and challenges. Basic documentation of these groups will be required as well. Crisis Intervention: Recognize and respond to crises, utilizing de-escalation techniques and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure patient safety. Education and Resources: Provide educational materials and resources to patients about substance use disorders, recovery strategies, and coping mechanisms. Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, progress, and any incidents in accordance with facility policies. Environment Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred.
