Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Emplify Health is seeking a Benefits Education Specialist to join our Benefits team! This role is vital in supporting candidates and current employees by providing expert guidance and education on employee benefits. This role focuses on connecting with candidates during the recruitment process to ensure a smooth onboarding experience from a benefits perspective.

The specialist will also work closely with employees approaching retirement to discuss their individual scenarios, benefits options, and available resources to support their transition. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates regarding employee benefits during the recruitment and onboarding process. Educate and guide new staff on available benefits, enrollment procedures, and timelines to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Collaborate with HR and talent acquisition teams to align benefits communication with overall onboarding strategies.

Provide personalized benefits counseling to employees planning for retirement, including reviewing benefit options, retirement plans, and available resources. Assist retiring employees in understanding their benefits, healthcare options, and any necessary paperwork or processes. Develop and deliver educational materials, presentations, and workshops related to employee benefits and retirement planning. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company benefits programs, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Build strong relationships with employees and candidates to foster trust and ensure clear communication regarding benefits. Track and report on benefits education activities and employee engagement metrics. What's Available? 1.0 FTE; 40 hours/ week Schedule: Monday-Friday days between 8:00am-5:00pm Location:

Remote eligible role for residents of WI, MN, and IA. Must be willing to come onsite for any departmental events or needs from time to time. What You'll Need:

Education: Associate's degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field.

Work

Experience: 3-4 years’ of employee benefit experience or 5-7 years of experience in HR with progressive accountabilities. Proven experience in employee benefits education, counseling, or related HR functions. Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, retirement planning, and healthcare options. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex benefits information clearly. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders including HR, talent acquisition, and employees.

Exhibit proficient skills in delivering presentations Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrate empathy and sensitivity when supporting employees through significant life transitions, including retirement. Proficiency with benefits administration systems and bolthires Office Suite. Experience working in healthcare or clinical settings, preferred but not required Certification in benefits or retirement planning (e.g., CEBS, CRC); preferred but not required What You'll Get:
