They are seeking a Billing and Collections Associate to manage cash applications, billing, and collection activities for assigned accounts while ensuring effective communication with customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for applying routine cash receipts to insurance balances receivable
- Responsible for all billing and collection activity of receivables for assigned accounts
- Balances and allocates agent payments for fundamental accounts
- Resolves internal and external customer inquiries and escalates to management as appropriate
- Takes necessary steps to reconcile and resolve differences
- Assist with special projects to promote efficiency as assigned
- Handle a variety of administrative tasks as needed
Skills
- High school diploma with demonstrated experience required
- 1-3 years billing and collection services or equivalent experience preferred
