The Billing Representative will be responsible for collecting and submitting billing data, resolving routine problems, and ensuring patient accounts are accurately billed in a timely manner. Responsibilities Collect and submit billing data Enter data into the computer database Locate and resolve routine problems Track claim and billing activity Ensure that patient accounts are accurately reviewed and prepared for timely billing Verify documentation and confirm payer information Address potential claim denials Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless billing processes Skills 1+ year general clerical experience in performing billing related functions, preferably in a health care facility environment or a physician's office High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience Problem-solving skills to identify and address potential billing issues 1 year of hospital billing experience Knowledge of payer policies and claim submission processes Benefits Competitive compensation package Robust benefits program Company Overview Here at CHLA, we believe every child deserves to enjoy all those special moments that childhood has to offer, free from pain and suffering.
