We're seeking a talented BIM Specialist – Civil to join our Infrastructure Team. This is a full-time, remote position based in the U.S. Only candidates who are currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis (e.g., U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder) will be considered. Sponsorship is not available for this role. Responsibilities β€’ Provide technical support, subject matter expertise, and training on CAD, BIM, VDC, and GIS workflows and technologies. β€’ Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff clearly and effectively. β€’ Stay up to date on application functionality, workflows, and industry trends. β€’ Consult with clients to identify challenges and recommend innovative, tech-driven solutions. β€’ Identify opportunities to introduce Symetri's technology and consulting offerings to clients, including Autodesk products, partner solutions, and custom applications. β€’ Support Symetri's sales team with technical presentations and pre-sales client demonstrations. β€’ Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring alignment with business goals. Requirements β€’ 4+ years of practical civil engineering or related experience using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D from conceptual design to construction. β€’ Experience with the implementation and use of GIS, particularly Esri ArcGIS Pro. β€’ Knowledge of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), and modern delivery systems. β€’ Proven success with BIM platform technologies within a civil engineering firm or government entity. β€’ Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. Nice-to-haves β€’ Professional registration (P.E.) and industry accreditations (ENV SP), E.I.T. β€’ Knowledge of sustainable design is a plus.
