The Boiler Operator is responsible for maintaining and monitoring utilities systems, ensuring quality and production are maintained, and performing preventative maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Respond to and resolve alarms relating to utilities systems using technical knowledge. Ensure that all actions performed are properly documented Perform preventative maintenance on utilities systems.
Ensure that these tasks are performed according to the relevant standard operating procedure and appropriately documented Perform daily checks, data logging, and system monitoring for utilities systems Maintain and organize records and historical data Evaluate concerns with utilities and communicate to leadership as necessary while providing feedback about proposed resolutions and ideas for improvement. Help create and execute change control documents Clean and maintain GMP in utilities areas Help with the creation and revision of standard operating procedures for tasks involving critical utilities Skills Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent certificate Technical training in electrical, mechanical, and general construction trades Boiler certificate a plus Experience with quality-controlled systems and computer-based process monitoring systems Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with purified water generation Good communication skills Be able to work 12 hour shifts Benefits 34 Total Paid Days Off Annually!
