Job Description

They are seeking a Claims Liaison to manage claims communication between clients, customs brokers, and surety partners, ensuring efficient service and support for U.S. Customs Bond products.


Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day service and support for U.S. Customs Bond products
  • Act as a primary liaison managing the claims communication between the Importer of Record, Customs Brokers, and our surety partners
  • Serve as the primary conduit for bond claims and subrogation matters, including facilitating and auditing documentation, tracking claim status and seeking reimbursement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Customs Broker clients and Surety Partner
  • Assist bond underwriters with servicing existing clients and delivering high quality client service
  • Support underwriting activities by collecting required information, performing data entry, and helping evaluate risk factors
  • Organize, monitor and manage bond and claims files to ensure accuracy, follow ups and compliance
  • Coordinate the creation and delivery of materials for clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders

Skills

  • 1 plus years of Claims experience required
  • Strong verbal and written skill essential
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail, Proactive Demeanor, Technical Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word and Adobe
  • Organizational Skills & Time Management with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while delivering quality results in a timely manner
  • Bachelor's Degree
