Responsibilities:
Ā Manage all accounts payable and receivable.
Ā Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Ā Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
Ā Track expenses, invoices, and other financial transactions.
Ā Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ā Maintain detailed records of all transactions and update financial data in QuickBooks.
Ā Assist in preparing and filing tax documents.
Ā Handle general ledger entries and maintain a comprehensive filing system.
Ā Collaborate with project managers and other staff to track project budgets.
Ā Perform month-end and year-end closings.
Ā Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Ā Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Ā 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally within the construction or roofing sector.
Ā Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ā Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Ā Excellent communication skills to collaborate with remote team members
