Gartner is a leading research and advisory company, and they are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst for their Conferences division. The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to define and execute the conference technology roadmap, focusing on understanding business requirements and improving processes. Responsibilities Partnering closely with the Product Owner(s) on one or more products to write high quality user stories explaining business problems Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects and business process improvements Documenting a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business Performing GAP analysis of business rules, and system process flows Streamlining process of reporting system related issues Translating business & technology strategies into detailed requirements and deliverables Interacting with conference attendees and Gartner associates to troubleshoot challenges remotely and onsite at conferences globally Skills 1-3 years of business analysis and project management experience Exceptional problem-solving capabilities: Able to solve complex problems, thinking creatively, and using data to tell a story Drive / Passion: You are passionate about the experience and delivering uncompromising quality.
Self-motivated & accountable, with a high level of commitment to responsibility Communication skills: You're an excellent verbal and written communicator capable of eliciting client and stakeholder feedback and documenting clear requirements Leadership: You've demonstrated a proven track record of driving continuous product improvements ranging from bug fixes to new features and deliverables. Action-oriented and driven to achieve results and build trust with both business partners and internal developers Influence: You must demonstrate a high level of collaboration and strong negotiation skills Organization skills: Extremely organized with strong time-management skills Bachelor's degree Willing to travel up to 3-5 times a year to support the seamless execution of in-person conferences Experience with Salesforce and sales process optimization Benefits Generous PTO A 401k match up to $7,200 per year
