Wilson Elser is a leading defense litigation law firm with more than 1400 attorneys in 46 offices throughout the United States. They are seeking a Business Intake Coordinator to manage client implementations on electronic billing systems and liaise with attorneys, clients, and vendors to ensure compliance and timely completion of billing processes. Responsibilities Manages and tracks all client implementations on applicable electronic billing systems Effectively liaising with attorneys, clients, middleware vendors and other administrative teams to meet the timeline for implementation and the specific electronic billing system requirements Monitor all active matter transitions to e-billing, prioritizing and ensuring their timely completion Identifying and documenting compliance requirements for each clientβs e-billing process Coordinating client guideline review and implementation Reviews new matters to ensure all relevant electronic billing information is properly entered into the billing system so that invoices are ready to submit electronically when approved Follows up with partners, secretaries, and clients, as appropriate, to obtain the required information Assesses implementation process for improvements and possible efficiencies Participating in firm-wide and departmental compliance projects and initiatives Performing other duties as assigned Processing write-offs per Firm policy Assistance with the creation and distribution of daily, weekly, monthly reports Skills Bachelor's degree and internship/work experience or 1-3 years' experience in legal e-billing may substitute for education Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook Strong reading comprehension, analytical and problem solving skills Ability to exercise proper judgment Ability to produce detailed and accurate work products Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced and high volume environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing with attorneys, staff, vendors and clients Ability to provide quality client service to both internal and external contacts, regarding matters of a routine nature Ability to identify issues and oversee the execution of resourceful solutions Willingness to learn and develop new skills Knowledge of legal billing and Middleware systems Experience in project management Knowledge of various Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) billing formats (specifications, limitations, etc.) Benefits 401(k) retirement savings plan Medical Dental Vision Disability Life insurance 401k match Generous PTO plan Access to corporate discount plans and other benefits Company Overview Wilson Elser is the preeminent defense litigation firm in the United States.
