Overview
The Business Systems Manager oversees the technical/software support function which assists Bank employees who use the Jack Henry banking system including Accounting, Deposit, Retail, and Loan platform processing. Assists with a variety of other ancillary applications. Responsible for the analysis and problem-solving for system-related issues.
In Short
ย Maintain regular interaction with senior officers regarding software and support issues.
ย Interact with Compliance Department on regulatory requirements.
ย Facilitate team meetings and provide direction.
ย Supervise direct reports and conduct performance appraisals.
ย Review incoming projects and validate requests.
ย Work closely with other departments on projects.
ย Manage software support staff and project assignments.
ย Participate in project meetings related to Jack Henry core system.
ย Maintain user authority in Jack Henry system.
ย Assist with ancillary applications.
Requirements
ย 10-15 years of experience in program troubleshooting and basic programming.
ย Bachelorยs Degree or equivalent experience in IT or systems analysis.
ย Ability to motivate and influence others.
ย Solid knowledge of Jack Henry operating system.
ย Efficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
ย Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
ย Excellent communication skills.
ย Ability to work under deadlines with interruptions.
ย Self-motivated and organized.
ย Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
