Background check, CAC, US Citizenship, and security clearance are requirements for this position. Six- month opportunity.
- Collects, interprets, and analyzes various types of logistics data including the availability of product, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain management, sourcing, and distribution.
- Enters data into database(s) of logistics information to ensure parts can be both purchased and stocked.
- Gathers transportation costs, parts procurement and delivery data, inventory data such as back orders, and other fulfillment metrics.
- Utilize DLA tools to properly catalog parts for induction into the Federal logistics system.
- Requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Physical Job Requirements
Mix of desk/computer work in an office environment and periodic visits to waterfront/shipboard environments. May involve repetitive motion, traversing shipboard environments (e.g., confined spaces, ladders, hatches) or vision.
Education/Certification Requirements
- Bachelors degree required.
- 5 years' work experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree
