Job Description

Cornell University is seeking a Program/Extension Aide II to support research and educational programs. The role involves collecting field data, assisting with documentation, planning logistics for workshops, and coordinating educational materials.


Responsibilities

  • May collect field data and electronically record results to support research
  • Perform data entry and assist with documentation and maintaining reports of program activities
  • Assist in planning logistics of workshops, conference and tours
  • Work with adult/youth clientele utilizing material and teaching techniques learned through in-service training
  • Routinely meet with supervisor to discuss plans and to select appropriate materials and teaching techniques
  • Update website and social media pages
  • Assist in the preparation and utilization of training and educational materials
  • Gather and coordinate educational materials and lesson plans
  • Assist in recruiting participants and volunteers for programs
