Responsibilities β’ Takes ownership of assigned channel account(s) or territory; develops and executes sales strategy for assigned account(s) or territory with manager's input focusing on Zebra's Workcloud Sync and RFID portfolios.
β’ Develops strong relationships with key channel contacts and leverages to Zebra's advantage. β’ Utilizes sponsorships, marketing initiatives, etc. to promote partnership and improve Zebra business within the channel. β’ Plans and executes new solution launches within channel and delivers high impact sales presentations and product training. β’ Develops and executes sales strategies with minimal input from manager for a higher level of financial responsibility. β’ Proactively sells solutions encompassing a wider range of products or services.
β’ Partners with channel to develop and co-execute high impact launches, co-marketing campaigns, etc. to improve business for both. β’ Develops channel approaches and tools which will be used by others in similar situations. β’ May be responsible for indirectly managing or influencing the Account Reps supporting the channel/customer and service and supply chain related to the channel. β’ Leads business planning, including participation in quota setting and defining overall sales/channel strategy. β’ Anticipates channel and customer needs and works to define innovative solutions.
β’ Develops strong relationships with corporate-level executives and industry influencers. β’ Leads creation of innovative marketing, service and supply chain approaches for others to utilize. Requirements β’ Bachelor's or equivalent experience. β’ 8+ years applicable partner (i.e. Channel, Distributor, Systems Integrator, etc.) management experience required. β’ Experience selling RFID. β’ Must reside in the US. 25%-35% travel expected nationwide. Nice-to-haves β’ Voice/Communication experience a plus. β’ Channel knowledge with an eye to the future including partner of the future.
β’ Successful ability to build and execute a business plan. β’ Ability to collaborate in more of a team-based approach vs independent sales process; heavy cross-functional interaction with internal teams. β’ Experience in recruitment (from existing partner base and/or new partners), enablement and development of partners. β’ Demonstrated ability to develop solution sales strategies for advanced partner relationships.
