For more information, please visit Role Summary â Chief Solution Architect: The Chief Solution Architect is a senior, customer-facing technology and business development leader responsible for articulating 1Finityâs endâtoâend strategic vision and translating customer needs into aligned, actionable direction across internal Business Units (BUs). This role serves as the primary executive technical interface to customers , shaping longâterm solution strategies across wireless, optical, and software , with a strong emphasis on softwareâdriven architectures and system-level outcomes. The Chief Solution Architect drives thought leadership, architectural coherence, and crossâportfolio alignment , ensuring that customer requirements, market trends, and technology roadmaps are understood, prioritized, and executed consistently across the organization. Leads the development and execution of innovative market solutions while providing strong technical and people leadership to a team of sales professionals, driving customer value, revenue growth, and successful execution of complex opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement & Strategic Vision Serve as the executive technical and architectural leader in strategic customer engagements, communicating 1Finityâs longâterm technology and solution vision. Lead seniorâlevel discussions with customers to understand business drivers, network evolution priorities, and software transformation goals. Position 1Finity as a trusted advisor and thought leader, influencing customer roadmaps beyond individual product opportunities. Requirements Capture & BU Alignment Translate customer requirements, architectural preferences, and strategic intent into clear, actionable guidance for Business Units. Drive alignment across BUs on solution direction, technology prioritization, and roadmap tradeoffs. Act as the connective tissue between customers, sales leadership, and engineering/product teams to ensure cohesive endâtoâend solutions. Technology & Thought Leadership Provide visible leadership across wireless, optical, and software architectures, with particular emphasis on softwareâcentric, open, and scalable solutions. Represent 1Finity at executive briefings, industry forums, and strategic partner discussions as a technology visionary. Shape internal and external narratives around system architecture, interoperability, and longâterm innovation. Strategic Business Development Support Support pursuit of strategic, highâimpact opportunities by shaping solution positioning and executiveâlevel customer strategy. Identify emerging customer needs and technology trends that inform new offerings, partnerships, or software investments. Contribute to longârange growth planning by connecting market signals to internal innovation priorities. Education & Qualifications Required Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 12+ years of progressive experience in solution architecture, preâsales engineering, or enterprise sales engineering roles. Demonstrated success leading and mentoring highâperforming technical sales or solutions teams. Proven experience partnering with Sales leadership to drive complex, multiâstakeholder deals from strategy through close. Deep understanding of enterprise architectures, cloud platforms, integrations, security, and scalable solution design. Strong executiveâlevel communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value. Preferred Masterâs degree (MBA, MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar). Industry or platform certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle, SAP, or relevant industry certifications). Background influencing product roadmaps and goâtoâmarket strategies based on customer and market insights. Experience working in complex, matrixed, or global sales organizations. As we are looking for a remote position, the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. 1Finity aligns salaries to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at$157,780 to $252,448 USD.
