Position Overview
Alina Telehealth is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child Psychiatrist licensed in New York to provide outpatient telepsychiatry services.
This is a fully remote opportunity offering flexible scheduling, low patient volume, and a meaningful chance to make an impact on children’s and adolescents’ mental health.
- Schedule
- Minimum 16 hours per week (flexible)
- Clinic Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST
- Can be scheduled across 2 full days (preferred: Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- Monday–Friday availability
- Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient telepsychiatry evaluations and follow-ups for patients aged 5 and above
- Provide diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management
- Document patient encounters in Meditech EMR
- Submit prescriptions electronically through Accumedic
- Handle cases including depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation, ensuring compassionate and evidence-based care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team as needed
- Requirements
- Active and unrestricted New York Medical License
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred
- Comfortable with remote EMR systems (Meditech, Accumedic)
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, ethical psychiatric care
