Job Description
LaBella Associates is looking for an entry level Engineer to join their Civil Division. The role involves storm water and wastewater infiltration testing, pavement evaluation, and field oversight of subsurface investigations, among other responsibilities. Responsibilities Storm water and wastewater infiltration testing and design Pavement evaluation and assessment Development of detailed construction drawings and specifications for steep slopes, site retaining walls, culverts, and pavement sections Field oversight of subsurface investigations and soil investigation services.
Flexible schedule to arrive at project sites at required times, out of town work periodically Perform technical analysis and provide parameters for design based on subsurface investigation results Prepare interpretive engineering reports Perform field inspections during the construction phase, as needed Skills B.S. degree in civil engineering or related field experience 0 to 5 years of progressive civil engineering experience with a focus on soil based design EIT or the ability to obtain within 12 months AutoCAD basic drafting capability Proficient in bolthires productivity suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently with teammates in different disciplines and different locations Drivers license required Possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects.
