- Analyze mid- and higher-level general auto claims to determine scope of damages
- Ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within company standards and industry best practices
- Identify subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements
- Manages claims by gathering information to determine exposure
- Approves and processes assigned claims and determines benefits due
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- 4 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Subject matter expert of appropriate insurance principles and laws for line-of-business handled
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
