Job Description
Premier Insurance Services LLC is a leading professional specialty adjusting firm specializing in fine art and jewelry insurance consulting and claims. The Claims Associate / Adjuster will be responsible for processing claims, engaging with clients, conducting security inspections, and drafting detailed reports.
Responsibilities
- Processing incoming claims and maintaining hardcopy files
- Engaging in telephonic and email correspondence with clients and brokers
- Performing on-site security inspections for accounts on a local and regional basis
- Insurance Policy review and interpretation
- Thoroughly investigating claim submissions and loss circumstances
- Claim analysis and financial adjustment based on Policy terms and conditions
- Drafting detailed Claim & Inspection Report
- Attending off-site meetings with brokers, company senior management
Skills
- A Los Angeles Adjusters license not required at the time of applying, however the candidate must be able to obtain an Adjusters license if hired
- Must be able to travel locally and regionally up to 50% of the time
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Employment history and two references required (include name, relationship to you, phone and e-mail)
- Resume
- 1-page cover letter describing why you would be a valuable addition to our organization
- Experienced with Microsoft Suite programs such as Word and Excel
- Experienced using Mac OS software and Dropbox
- Experience in insurance / claims adjusting preferred but not required
- BA/BS degree preferred but not required
