Position: Cleaning Team Members (Porter Service)
Team Composition: Minimum of 2 members
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated cleaning team to manage porter service duties for our multi-family community. This team will ensure that common areas, amenities, and individual units maintain a high standard of cleanliness and operational functionality.
Responsibilities:
Β General Cleaning:
Β Daily cleaning of common areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and amenity spaces such as fitness centers, pools, and lounges.
Β Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors.
Β Dusting surfaces, cleaning windows, mirrors, and light fixtures.
Β Emptying and sanitizing trash receptacles.
Β Maintenance Checks:
Β Perform minor repairs or report maintenance issues in common areas.
Β Ensure all amenities are in working order, reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
Β Unit Turnover:
Β Clean and prepare vacant units for new tenants, including deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, and ensuring all spaces are move-in ready.
Β Exterior Maintenance:
Β Clean entryways, patios, and sidewalks.
Β Remove litter from the grounds.
Β Special Projects:
Β Participate in seasonal cleaning tasks, event setup, and post-event cleanup.
Β Assist with power washing, painting, or other community enhancement projects as needed.
Β Customer Service:
Β Interact with residents in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring their concerns or requests for cleaning services are addressed promptly.
Qualifications:
Β Experience: Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial, or similar roles preferred.
Β Skills:
Β Strong attention to detail.
Β Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Β Basic knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment.
Β Ability to handle physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Β Communication: Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Β Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality.
Physical Demands:
Β Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Β Exposure to various weather conditions when performing outside duties.
Hours:
Β Full-time or part-time positions available.
Β Shifts may include weekends, evenings, or holidays based on community needs.
