About the Opportunity
Our Japan-based client is a growing development team expanding into the U.S. market, where projects tend to be larger and longer-term. The developers are highly capable, but communicating complex requirements with international clients can sometimes be challenging.
To bridge that gap, we're looking for a Business Analyst / Client Communication / Project Liaison who can represent our team in client interactions, ensure clear communication, and help translate project requirements into actionable tasks for our developers.
- This is a partnership-style opportunity with revenue sharing (20–30% of project value) rather than a fixed salary. If you enjoy client interaction, project discussions, and being the connector between clients and developers, this role could be a perfect fit.What You'll Do
- Serve as the communication bridge between the US clients and the Japanese team
- Participate in occasional video calls with clients when needed and maintain professional communication. The schedule is based on your availability.
- Our developers will handle the technical development work, so your focus will be communication, clarification, and relationship management.Compensation
- Revenue sharing: 20–30% of the total project budget
- All projects are handled via Upwork contracts
- Payments are processed through your Upwork account
- Once funds are available, we withdraw and split the revenue accordingly
- Because U.S. clients typically have larger budgets, this model allows strong earning potential as project volume grows.How the Workflow Works

- Contracts are created under your Upwork profile
- Our team will assist with:
- Purchasing connects
- Sending proposals
- Managing client messages
- You will join client meetings when necessary to discuss project details
- Requirements
- Strong spoken and written English
- Comfortable joining client video calls
- Professional communication and client-facing skills
- An active Upwork account (or willing to create one)
- A PC/laptop with remote access capability. Please note that y ou will need to set up a remote access tool (e.g., AnyDesk) so our team can assist with proposal submissions and client communications.Ideal Candidate

- Confident communicating with U.S. clients
- Organized and able to clearly transfer the information from clients
