The Billing Associate position is an integral part of a 5-person team. The role is central within the organization and is responsible for handling the billing for our clients, as well as collaborating with peers within and outside of the organization.

The individual in this position will participate in company-wide projects that involve working with different teams. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a growing business and gain valuable experience. This is a full-time employment opportunity working Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:30PM Eastern Time. For the first three months, the employee will need to be in the NYC office for training up to three days per week.

After the training period, the manager will decide the employee's schedule, which could potentially include a fully remote or hybrid option. Responsibilities • Preparing and sending out payroll files to clients for processing. • Handling client invoicing and payment processing. • Analyzing data pertaining to the billing function. • Responsible for interacting with clients and carriers and helping with any billing-related inquiries. • Assisting with the implementation of new clients from a billing standpoint.

Requirements • Experience with client/customer service, preferably in a corporate setting. • Attention to detail with a high level of accountability and ownership of work. • Experience working with executives or executive-level clients is preferred. • Ability to work on time-sensitive and competing deadlines. • Resourcefulness and ability to consult and work with others. • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time and deadlines. • A team-oriented, friendly collaborative attitude. • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

• Excel fluency is preferred with ability to develop pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, graphs, etc. Nice-to-haves • Bachelor's Degree preferred. • A degree in Accounting, Finance or Mathematics is a plus.
