About the Role- We’re hiring a Client Service Representative (CSR) to support our legal client onboarding and inbound client calls. This role is ideal for someone who’s genuinely friendly, calm under pressure, and great with technology (especially when coaching clients step-by-step through signing documents on a phone or computer). While daily call volume can be light, when client needs come in they must be handled promptly. This position is structured as a contract availability role: you may actively work only 3-4 hours on some days, but you are paid for a guaranteed 32 hours/week to be available during our coverage window. What You’ll Do- Outbound Welcome/Onboarding Calls (Primary): • Conduct structured “welcome” calls with new clients, following a detailed script • Confirm client identity/contact info and review listed consumer debt accounts for accuracy • Guide clients through receiving and signing documents electronically (mobile + desktop) • Read required notices and obtain clear verbal acknowledgements (recorded calls) Billing Authorization Support (Scripted): • Confirm cardholder authorization and capture required verbal confirmations • Assist clients with common “decline/verification” situations and next steps Scheduling: • Schedule Compliance and Paralegal calls while the client is on the line Inbound Calls (Secondary): • Answer inbound client calls to the main office line • Triage and route issues appropriately (Client Care/Retention, Billing, Paralegal team, etc.) • Provide clear updates and instructions while maintaining a professional, empathetic tone Growth Opportunity: • Advance Fast: If you’re reliable, sharp, and client-focused, you’ll have opportunities to move up quickly as we expand. • Wear More Hats (In a Good Way): This is a great role for someone who wants to grow because we’re lean, you’ll get exposure to multiple functions and the chance to step into leadership as volume increases. Tools & Admin: • Send documents via Zoho (e-sign workflow), track signing status, and resend when needed • Take detailed notes in Zoho and attach/associate RingCentral call recordings • Complete post-call checklist steps and maintain clean, organized documentation You’re a Great Fit If You...- • Have 2+ years in customer service, call center, intake, or client support (legal/financial services is a plus) • Are confident and compassionate handling sensitive financial conversations • Can overcome objections without sounding pushy (calm, credible, and helpful) • Are tech-proficient and able to walk non-technical people through e-signing on their phone/computer • Have excellent attention to detail (names, emails, addresses, confirmations, compliance wording) • Communicate clearly and professionally, even when clients are frustrated or confused • Thrive in a role where you must be responsive and ready, even during slower periods Requirements • Availability between 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST (we’ll assign set coverage shifts within this window) • Extremely reliable high-speed internet (stable for VoIP calls) • Quiet home workspace suitable for calls • Comfort using multiple systems at once (CRM + phone + email + e-sign + notes) • Computer with updated OS and the ability to run web apps smoothly (dual monitors a plus) Nice to Have • Experience with Zoho, RingCentral, e-sign tools (Zoho Sign, DocuSign, etc.) • Prior work in legal intake, debt/consumer finance, or compliance-heavy call flows • Located near St. Pete/Clearwater, FL (not required) Compensation & Structure • $20/hour • Guaranteed 32 hours/week (opportunity for additional hours based on volume) • Contract role (remote) • Paid for scheduled coverage time (because availability and fast response matter in this role) Pay: $20.00 per hour Benefits: • Work from home Application Question(s): • Your internet speed (download/upload), and is your computer connected to an ethernet cable instead of wifi? • Example of a time you coached someone through a technical process over the phone unable to see the other persons screens (e-signing, portals, apps, etc.)?
