Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in radiology and clinical image annotation. This role involves accurately labeling and annotating medical imaging data to support AI/ML model development and validation, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities β’ Perform precise annotation of medical images (MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound) for AI/ML training datasets. β’ Apply standardized labeling protocols and maintain consistency across datasets. β’ Validate annotations for accuracy and completeness. β’ Interpret imaging studies and provide clinical insights for annotation guidelines. β’ Collaborate with data scientists to define clinically relevant features and regions of interest. β’ Ensure annotations align with diagnostic standards and clinical workflows. β’ Maintain documentation of annotation processes in accordance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP). β’ Support audits and regulatory submissions with detailed annotation reports. β’ Work closely with AI/ML teams, clinical researchers, and regulatory specialists. β’ Provide feedback on annotation tools and workflows for continuous improvement. Required Qualifications β’ MD in Radiology or equivalent clinical imaging certification. β’ Strong understanding of imaging modalities (MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound) and DICOM standards. β’ Experience in medical image annotation for AI/ML projects. β’ Familiarity with GCP and regulatory frameworks (FDA, EMA). Preferred Skills β’ Knowledge of annotation tools (e.g., ITK-SNAP, 3D Slicer, Labelbox). β’ Understanding of AI/ML concepts and medical imaging libraries (e.g., MONAI). β’ Prior experience in clinical trials or regulated healthcare environments. Soft Skills β’ Attention to detail and accuracy in annotations. β’ Strong communication and documentation skills. β’ Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
