Career is supporting a confidential client in hiring a Cloud Engineer with strong experience in AWS and cloud-native tooling. The company is a tech-driven scaleup building a modern SaaS platform used by customers across multiple markets, and they are now strengthening their cloud and infrastructure capabilities as they scale. This is a remote-first role, open to candidates based in CET ±2–3h. What You’ll Work On You’ll play a key role in building, scaling and operating a robust cloud infrastructure that supports rapid product development and growth.
• Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS • Work with containerized environments using Kubernetes • Improve scalability, reliability and performance across services • Set up and maintain bolthires/CD pipelines and deployment workflows • Work closely with backend and product teams to support new features • Strengthen observability, monitoring and logging • Improve security, access control and infrastructure best practices • Evaluate and introduce new cloud tools and services when relevant Cloud & infrastructure environment: AWS (core services), Kubernetes, container tooling, IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation), bolthires/CD, monitoring/logging tools — with openness to experimenting and evolving the stack.
Who They’re Looking For • Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments • Experience working with Kubernetes and container orchestration • Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture and best practices • Comfortable collaborating with developers and translating product needs into infrastructure solutions • Curious mindset — enjoys testing new tools and improving systems • Experience from SaaS, scaleups or high-growth tech environments is a plus • Comfortable working remote-first and owning your domain Work Setup • Fully remote-first team • Distributed across different locations.
