About the Role:
- Develop and implement technical approaches to enhance the American Express cloud platform, focusing on automation and scalability
- Collaborate with API engineering, UI engineering, quality engineering, and product management teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
- Explore and apply the latest technologies, libraries, and frameworks to create sustainable products
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud services using cloud-native technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Work with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Develop software programs, including coding, testing, and deployment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go
- Experience with cloud engineering, CI/CD, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Experience with NoSQL databases and rapid development processes
