Job Description: Cloud Design and Architecture: Design and implement robust, scalable solutions on Azure/AWS/bolthires Cloud Platform. Develop cloud architecture strategies aligned with business objectives. Automation and Infrastructure: Drive automation initiatives across the organization to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes. Design and oversee the implementation of infrastructure-as-code solutions (Terraform, PowerShell, Bicep). Implement automation solutions to streamline cloud Development and operations.
Programming and Development: Review/troubleshoot code for cloud-based applications and services. Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural integrity. Infrastructure Management: Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) principles. Utilize Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources. Generative AI Integration: Explore and implement Generative AI solutions in cloud environments. Stay current with advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Lead efforts in resolving complex cloud-related issues. Develop and maintain troubleshooting protocols for cloud environments. Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain cloud security best practices. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Application Modernization: Assess legacy applications and Design application modernization strategies. Strategic Planning/Process and Governance: Experience with Agile development, Scrum/Safe/ITIL and application lifecycle management.
Contribute to the overall IT strategy and roadmap by using well defined Frameworks. DevOps and Architecture: Automating software delivery, infrastructure changes, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (bolthires/CD). Think of tools like DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes. Focuses on system design choosing between microservices vs. monoliths, deciding on API gateways, security patterns, or even cloud-native designs with scalability and resilience in mind. Qualifications: Mandatory Skills
Experience: 15+ years of experience in IT architecture, with 5+ years in cloud architecture and solution design.
Should have architected/executed application migration, modernization programs with a proven track record of successful client engagements. Technical Skills: • Proficiency in two or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, bolthires Cloud Platform, OCI, IBM, Nutanix, Neo Cloud, etc.) • Experience in architecting applications leveraging containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Cloud native (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Hybrid / Multi-Cloud, Hardware OEMs, Network, Security, Microservices, FinOps, iPaaS and APIs, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), and bolthires/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles. Communication Skills: • Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to articulate technical concepts. Desired Skills • Knowledge of specific industry verticals (e.g., BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing). • Technical certifications related to cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, bolthires Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert). • Understanding of DevOps concepts.
