Kairovera is a dynamic and forward-thinking telehealth startup dedicated to delivering accessible, patient-centered virtual care services across California. Our focus includes primary care, mental health, and weight management. As we grow, we are seeking a Collaborating Physician to support our licensed Nurse Practitioners in providing safe and compliant care under California regulations.
Position Overview:
The Collaborating Physician will offer oversight and clinical support to Nurse Practitioners in accordance with California law. This is a low-commitment, fully remote opportunity ideal for a physician looking to contribute to innovative healthcare models while maintaining schedule flexibility.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the collaborating physician for one or more California-licensed Nurse Practitioners
- Review and sign NP documentation as required by state law
- Be available for consultation via phone or video as needed
- Ensure adherence to the collaborative agreement and regulatory compliance
- Participate in periodic collaborative meetings (quarterly or biannual)
- Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of California
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine or related specialty
- Prior experience collaborating with NPs is preferred but not required
- Comfortable using electronic health platforms
- Strong communication and organizational skills
