<p>Farms at Work is seeking a part-time Community Farm Planner for our Peterborough Community Farm initiative over the coming year. The vision for the Community Farm initiative is to support new farmers and create an inspirational learning hub, grounded in Farms at Work’s charitable commitment to building secure and resilient community food systems. The Planner will build on and flesh out critical elements identified in an existing business plan.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include</strong>: Review of existing background research and consultations, conducting interviews and focus groups with potential community farm program participants and community organizations on key topics; refining capital requirements; developing a Community Farm guidebook and application process </p><p><strong>Location</strong>: Peterborough. Office space is available and onsite work and meetings will be required on a regular basis in Peterborough and at the Farm location (about 10 minutes outside of the City). Applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance or be prepared to relocate.
