Actively Hiring "Compliance Analyst/Assistant" at New York, NY for position at a hospital. pay rate is $30-$33/hr. Please find below details of the position. Job Title : Compliance Analyst/Assistant Duration : 3+ months high possibility for extension Location : New York, NY (Hybrid) Pay Rate : $30-$33/hr Schedule Notes: 9am - 5pm Certification in health care compliance (CHC) Required Job Summary • Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Compliance team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and following up on communications. • Assist with data collection and information requests from internal departments and external stakeholders. • Support audit preparation activities by maintaining organized and secure documentation. • Process mail merges for biannual Service Verification mailings. • Coordinate mailing activities, including preparing and distributing request letters, conducting weekly office visits to manage incoming mail, and ensuring proper distribution to relevant parties. • Maintain and regularly update Corporate Compliance tracking tools, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. • Support Corporate Compliance Investigators by tracking due dates, monitoring case timelines, and sending reminders to ensure timely completion of investigatory tasks. • Assist the Senior Manager of Corporate Compliance with preparing and populating data for presentations and committee meetings. • Record and maintain all Medicare compliance activities in the Compliance Oversight Activities table, ensuring entries are complete and current. • Support Corporate Compliance Work Plan initiatives, including conducting outbound calls for provider directory audits and compiling necessary documentation. • Monitor the exclusion screening vendor dashboard to ensure timely completion of required reviews by internal departments, and manage user access (additions, updates, removals) as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Experience Knowledge of managed care regulations and health insurance laws •Experience in a compliance role or as an internal auditor. •Proficient in doing research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
