About the position

The Compliance HMDA Analyst at Capital City Bank is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) by collecting, reviewing, analyzing, validating, and reporting data. This role involves managing technical support for HMDA issues, participating in regulatory examinations and audits, and providing training to bank associates on HMDA policies and procedures. The analyst will work closely with the Compliance Manager and Fair Lending team to maintain the bank's compliance programs and monitor regulatory changes.

Responsibilities • Administer the HMDA Compliance Management System. • Ensure executive management is informed on all aspects of the Bank's HMDA compliance activities. • Monitor and analyze trends and changes in Fair Lending regulations. • Participate in new product development and provide input on HMDA compliance concerns. • Research compliance issues and provide interpretations and clarifications. • Execute corrective actions to address compliance deficiencies and conduct follow-up reviews. • Maintain awareness of legislative developments and consumer compliance laws.

• Prepare professional written reports of findings and recommendations. • Assist with compliance training initiatives and develop training content. • Write and edit compliance materials such as policies and procedures. Requirements • Bachelor's degree preferred with five years of significant regulatory compliance experience. • Varied and extensive banking background with detailed knowledge of regulatory compliance. • CRCM Certification required or commitment to obtain within five years. • Excellent grasp of consumer compliance laws and regulations.

• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. • Ability to analyze and apply lending regulatory requirements. • In-depth knowledge of bolthires Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader). • Understanding of consumer protection laws and bank supervisory compliance examination procedures. Nice-to-haves • Internal audit experience is a plus. • Experience in a federally regulated financial institution.
