Job description The Compliance Software Solutions Engineer is responsible for develop platform features, software components, and application logic using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and related technologies. Job requirements • Bachelor’s degree in equivalent in Computer Information Systems or a closely related field. • Requires 24 months experience in a closely related occupation. • Requires 24 months experience with the following: SQL queries, C#, .NET, SQL Server; Global environmental and materials-compliance regulations (RoHS, REACH, WEEE, TSCA, Prop 65, PFAS, CEPA, and EPR schemes); Enterprise technical compliance platforms and relational-database design; PLM/ERP systems such as Windchill, SAP, Oracle Agile, and Teamcenter; REST, JSON, XML, and API connectors. Job responsibilities Develop platform features, software components, and application logic using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and related technologies; Create scalable, reusable modules and technical solutions that enhance the platform’s compliance-automation capabilities; Design and build pilot solutions, proof-of-concept modules, and early-stage feature prototypes for emerging client or regulatory needs; Develop rule-based engines, workflow logic, and automation routines that encode international environmental-compliance regulations, including RoHS, REACH, WEEE, TSCA, Prop 65, PFAS, CEPA, and EPR schemes; Update software functionality as global regulators release new requirements, ensuring the platform remains current across all supported jurisdictions; Design regulatory data schemas, jurisdiction-specific models, and validation structures for high-volume compliance reporting; Develop and maintain integrations between the company platform and PLM/ERP systems such as Windchill, SAP, Oracle Agile, and Teamcenter; Build REST, JSON, XML, and custom API connectors that conform to the proprietary integration framework of the company platform; Develop testing routines to validate regulatory logic, workflow automation, and data-processing accuracy; Optimize SQL queries, application logic, and data-processing routines to improve performance within the company platform; Prepare technical documentation, including solution specifications, architectural notes, regulatory logic maps, and engineering guidelines.
