About the position
- Responsibilities
- Develop new programs and projects that promote the mission of MMI.
- Access funding to support program activities.
- Report directly to the Director of the UCEDD.
- Interact with all UCEDD and MMI faculty, staff, trainees, and members of the Consumer Advisory Board.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a disability-related field.
- 3 years of experience in advocacy, self-advocacy, or program management related to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to work with the disability advocacy community.
- Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree in Human Services or a disability-related field.
- Knowledge and experience in grant writing and securing extramural funding.
- Benefits
- Salary range of $59,700 - $95,500 annually.
- Hybrid work schedule (part-time on-site and part-time off-site).
- Flexible working hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; hours may vary).
