We are looking for a **part-time Content Writer** based in **Malaysia** to join our professional, industry-leading editorial team on a long-term contract and focus specifically on the gambling industry in **Asia**.

*About the role**

This role is ideally suited for a freelance journalist looking for part-time work.

Your duties would include, but not be limited to, the following:

Sourcing and writing several news stories for the publication's website, including round-ups and reviews of the Asian market.
Working closely with the Editor, who is based in our head office in London, UK.
Becoming a reliable part of the team, able to break news before the competition and identify a must-not-miss news item.
Research the industry, both to develop your own knowledge, enhance our renowned coverage and to assist with in-house publications and events.

*Essential requirements**

The successful applicant will:

Speak **English**, **Cantonese** and **Mandarin**:

Possess strong news writing ability, and the ability to write concisely and quickly - without speed coming at the expense of quality, but also being able to break news without any delays.
Have experience in a full-time journalism role or regular freelance writing.
Be a persistent worker who is prepared to go the extra mile and takes thorough care over their work.
