The Contract Administrator II (Temp to possible Permanent Hire) candidate must have strong experience managing and owning contracts, have a strong knowledge of legal terms and will document management systems. In this role, the Contract Administrator will be responsible for administering contract templates, reviewing and editing complex sales contract packages, Order Forms and Statements of Work (SOW’s), providing first-round responses to customer redlines, negotiating and drafting contract language, maintaining the teamwork queue, obtaining electronic signatures, contract distribution and enforcing the company’s contract process. This role entails interpreting contract language, validating legacy contracts, working with renewals, sales and sales ops teams, organizing playbook language, and possible communication with customer or procurement non-legal personnel. Essential Job Duties: • Oversee actions with internal legal teams • Report status of current contract processes to management and stakeholders • Ensure contracting documents are being completed in a timely manner • Provide first-round responses to customer redlines • Assist Director of Contracts Management to negotiate terms, conditions and pricing, and ensure they are accurately executed on large and complex contracts • Obtain electronic signatures, manage internal contract distributions, and ensure legal documents are properly filed • Seeks efficiency through thorough review of processes and leads team/departmental changes • Perform contract administration duties and responsibilities in accordance with internal policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, customer requirements, and sound business judgment. • Identify and escalate non-standard, complex matters received in the corporate mailbox to appropriate internal resources • Manage Purchase Order Requests via eRequest via Azure AD • Create and maintain vendor data within Dynamics365 • Assist with making sure that business licenses are up to date and renewed timely. • Create and maintain Consultant SOWs Required Skills/Qualifications: Must have at least 5 years experience as a Contract Administrator in a SaaS environment (preferred) Must have hands on experience with contract drafting, review, and administration experience, as well as managing SOW's. Ability to modify existing templates, implement new templates, and be co-owner of contract workflow Must have hands on experience negotiating contract terms and ensuring terms are accurately captured in executed agreements and red-lining contracts Experience managing post-execution obligations (deliverables, payment terms, SLAs, compliance, renewals, notices). Ability to assess contract risk (including indemnification, limitation of liability, and termination Must have experience managing amendments and change orders Experience applying contract governance controls to contracts - Knowledge of contract governance, enforcement, and remedies Ability to translate contract terms into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal teams Experience supporting audits, records requests, and/or inquiries by producing contract and compliance documentation Experience drafting and negotiating contract terms to protect the organization in disputes.
