The Opportunity We are currently collaborating with a dynamic, Minneapolis‑based healthcare provider that is tackling a substantial backlog of administrative authorizations. This contract position is the linchpin in clearing that backlog, ensuring that patients receive timely services and that the organization can capture accurate revenue. Key Responsibilities Accurate Data Entry: Input, process, and manage a high volume of medical and administrative documentation for diverse patient populations, maintaining a minimum speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour while preserving 99.9% accuracy. Documentation Review & Verification: Scrutinize client files for completeness, consistency, and compliance with HIPAA and internal guidelines, flagging any discrepancies for immediate correction. Backlog Prioritization: Partner closely with the client’s leadership team to triage cases, prioritize high‑impact authorizations, and deliver measurable reductions in turnaround time. Quality Assurance: Perform systematic quality checks on entered data, ensuring proper formatting, correct patient identifiers, and full data integrity before final submission. Data Integrity Management: Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve data anomalies or incomplete entries, documenting corrective actions in the tracking system. Confidentiality & Compliance: Safeguard sensitive health information, adhering strictly to HIPAA, state privacy statutes, and Flexoraq’s internal data‑security protocols. Team Collaboration: Communicate proactively with cross‑functional team members, request missing information, and contribute to a seamless workflow. Progress Reporting: Provide structured updates to leadership on backlog clearance status, including metrics such as cases resolved per day and pending volumes. Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies, propose enhancements to workflow tools, and support initiatives that boost entry speed and accuracy. Essential Qualifications Minimum 2 years of professional data‑entry experience, preferably within a healthcare environment. Demonstrated ability to sustain high‑velocity typing rates (8,000+ keystrokes per hour) without sacrificing precision. Proven track record of thriving in fast‑changing, high‑volume settings while maintaining an extreme level of attention to detail. Strong familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the handling of protected health information (PHI). Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and leadership.
