Job Description
- Join a program focused on improving elementary literacy by delivering structured online reading instruction to young learners.
- Responsibilities:
- Deliver online reading lessons via Zoom to small groups (up to 4 students) in 30- or 40-minute sessions.
- Be available during school and after-school hours (most classes scheduled in the early morning through late afternoon, Monday–Friday).
- Follow provided curriculum and lesson directions.
- Provide regular progress feedback on students and maintain a supportive learning environment.
- Compensation: $24.00 per hour (equivalent to $12 for a 30-minute class or $16 for a 40-minute class).
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher; degrees in education, English, or related fields preferred.
- Experience teaching reading, phonics, or ESL to early elementary grades (K–3 preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual Spanish speakers are a plus.
- Comfortable using Zoom and other educational technologies.
- U.S. work authorization required.
- Structured online reading classes are offered for Pre-K through 6th grade.
